Certificate in Financial Planning Program

Prepare for CFP® certification

The Certificate in Financial Planning Program is designed to meet the demanding schedules of working professionals. It is for both experienced professionals seeking to advance their careers and those entering the field for the first time. The program requires nine months of rigorous, part-time study.

The field of financial planning is experiencing healthy growth due to many factors including:

  • Employment opportunities for personal financial advisors are projected to grow by 41% thru 2016 (U.S. Department of Labor 2008-2009 Occupational Outlook Handbook)
  • Growth is expected to remain strong as baby boomers retire
  • Financial products develop in complexity, tax laws change, and the industry moves toward regulation
  • Individuals, families, and small business owners are turning to financial planners as a means to financial security
