Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate

Training and Certification

Trying to decide whether you should reduce waste or improve quality while reducing defects? Give yourself the power to do it all.

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) incorporates Lean’s efficiency and impact with the variation reduction and organizational infrastructure of Six Sigma. This program will focus on combining the two into a single, seamless process that any organization can use to achieve rapid improvement.

You will find great value in the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program at the University of St. Thomas because:

  • You are in a face-to-face environment for eight days where you are actively learning with expert instructors and industry peers
  • At your own pace you will view streamed online videos of lectures regarding the DMAIC framework and Lean methodologies
  • The combination of Lean and Six Sigma will enable you to truly transform your processes

All of the tools and lectures from our Six Sigma Green Belt program will be available for you to use online. The program will focus on utilizing the Six Sigma DMAIC framework and integrate the waste reduction tools of Lean through a combination of lectures online, hands on workshops, simulation, case studies, and work in a computer lab. Significant emphasis is placed on applications to both the service and manufacturing sectors.
