Marlin J. Meendering
Director, Executive & Professional Development
Thank you for visiting my personal page. Here you will learn a bit more about me, my role with the University of St. Thomas and find several helpful links.
About Me
I joined Executive Education & Professional Development at the University of St. Thomas in May 2008 with an extensive base of leadership experience in four different industries. Our mission is to “develop the leadership capacity of individuals and the organizations they serve.” Thus, I strive to 1) understand my client’s business development needs; 2) clarify their objectives for a custom education initiative; 3) provide the best faculty resource(s) to achieve those goals; and 4) guide the development and delivery of a rigorous, time efficient, and cost effective program.
To maintain my work/life balance I enjoy landscaping, gardening, traveling, reading, carpentry, stained glass, and swimming. I’m blessed with a 37 year marriage, three adult children with great partners and one grandchild (best job in the world).
Professional Responsibilities:
I work with health care providers, insurers, and pharmaceutical company leaders to develop customized educational programs that are integral to new initiatives and/or address critical organizational needs. Our clients value St. Thomas’ flexibility, quality, and objectivity resulting from the research and expertise of our highly acclaimed faculty.
