Mini MBA Program Dates and Times
Founded in 1885, the University of St. Thomas has established itself as one of the premier universities in Minnesota and the Midwest. The business-focused continuing education unit, which is now Executive Education and Professional Development, was created in 1957 by Bishop James Shannon and Peter F. Drucker. There are currently more than 7,000 students engaged in the Opus College of Business’s undergraduate, graduate, executive and professional education studies because they value the emphasis on career preparation and engaging in service to others.

“People … are increasingly looking for fast and inexpensive ways to bolster their credentials and brush up on their business skills. Many are turning to quick-hit business education programs, commonly referred to as "mini-MBA" programs…The classes… are designed for middle managers who often don't have a business background or MBA, but want to get a better grasp on business essentials to help them progress in their careers.” (The Mini MBA's Big Appeal, BusinessWeek, August 17, 2009)

“For those who previously completed an MBA program, the Mini MBA is a great course to refresh your skills. For those without an MBA, it’s a good introduction that will help identify gaps in current knowledge.”
