SPAN is designed for people who are considering or are in a career transition. If you have experience in the corporate, business, or public sectors and are interested in exploring the nonprofit sector, this program will offer a variety of ways to do so.
The day is structured to allow you to:

- Learn the differences and similarities between corporate and nonprofit sectors.
- Discover how your strengths and talents may fit nonprofit leadership roles.
- Receive personal attention schedule a follow-up consultation with the center for Nonprofit Management staff and other nonprofit experts.
Founded in 1885, the University of St. Thomas has established itself as one of the premier universities in Minnesota and the Midwest. The business-focused continuing education unit, which is now Executive Education and Professional Development, was created in 1957 by Bishop James Shannon and Peter F. Drucker. There are currently more than 7,000 students engaged in the Opus College of Businesss undergraduate, graduate, executive and professional education studies because they value the emphasis on career preparation and engaging in service to others.
