Peter Farstad has worked and volunteered in the nonprofit sector for
more than 20 years. Peter works as Chief Administrative Officer of
LifeSource-Upper Midwest Organ Procurement Organization, a federally designated
nonprofit organization charged with all aspects of organ and tissue recovery for
transplantation in Minnesota and the Dakotas.
Ann Johnson is the Director of the Center for Nonprofit Management in the
Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas. She has 30 years of
nonprofit leadership and management experience, in addition to expertise in
professional training and curriculum development. She has served as executive
for health care, education, advocacy and grassroots organizations.
Gary Kelsey is Principal Consultant of Gary Kelsey and Associates. Gary
has provided nonprofit board development, program development, strategic
planning, fundraising, collaboration, team-building, qualitative research and
other organizational development assistance and training to over 200 nonprofit,
philanthropic, education and government organizations. Gary has 26 years
experience within the nonprofit, government and education sectors.
Audrey Kintzi has been working in the development field for over 20
years. She is the Vice President and Chief Development Office for the Courage
Center. Prior to her work at the Courage Center, she was the chief advancement
officer for the Girl Scout Council of St. Croix Valley.
John McCall is Associate Dean and Chief Financial Officer for the Opus
College of Business at the University of St. Thomas. John has an undergraduate
degree and an MBA from UST, and he spent much of his professional career as a
financial executive at Ecolab.
Sally Power is a professor of management at the University of St. Thomas.
For almost 20 years she has worked with MBA students developing their careers by
teaching a course Management: Challenges and Purpose, which she helped to
create. In 2003, she was the lead author for an article presenting a new model
for midcareer development in the 21st century. Dr. Power is currently at working
on a book on boomers finding bliss.
Missy Thompson Staples oversees the Success By 6™ initiative and
partnership at the United Way of the Twin Cities. She has over 30 years of
business and community leadership and currently serves on several boards of
directors including the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the Minnesota
Historical Society. Prior to joining United Way, Missy was director at Fannie
Mae where she implemented a successful seven-year $25 billion investment plan
for the state of Minnesota.
