8:30 - 9:00 a.m. - Registration

9:00 - 12:00 p.m. - Plenary sessions

  • 9:00 - 9:50 Sector overview and projections
  • 10:00 - 10:50 Strategic career transitions
  • 11:00 - 11:50 The nonprofit economy in Minnesota

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Luncheon and panel discussion

  • A panel discussion with professionals who have transitioned into the nonprofit sector. Lunch will be provided.

1:00 - 3:30 p.m. - "Speed dating style" roundtable discussions

  • Participants will rotate through three sections, from 1:00 - 1:45, 1:50 - 2:35, and 2:40 - 3:25
  • Topics are Leadership and Governance, Fundraising, and Finance

3:30 - 4:00 p.m. - Consultation sign-up and networking

  • One-on-one consultation sign-up information and networking. Resource tables and direct contact with nonprofit professionals, information about follow-up meetings.

 

 

Program Dates and Times
Founded in 1885, the University of St. Thomas has established itself as one of the premier universities in Minnesota and the Midwest. The business-focused continuing education unit, which is now Executive Education and Professional Development, was created in 1957 by Bishop James Shannon and Peter F. Drucker.
